The goal of Techniques is to give dedicated dance students the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of dance technique, both contemporary and classical, at a level that is comparable with the skills developed within the mainstream of today’s dance world.
Many times students not geographically fortunate enough to live in a community located near or in a metropolitan area of the country, lack the opportunity to achieve the skills necessary for today competitive and professional dance world. Techniques founder and school director understands that need and strives to continue to give local young artist the ability to achieve those goals and dreams.
Techniques has a staff of professional dance instructors each with a college degrees in formal dance training in both contemporary and classical dance techniques. Our instructors come from a wide range of experience as former or present members of the professional dance world.
Techniques students are given the opportunity to work with professional dancers from a variety of mainstream organizations and training environments from through out the dance world.
Techniques is a non-profit 501(c)(3) theatre and dance educational institution and the official school of the Hot Springs Children’s Dance Theatre Company a performing outlet to better allow students to participate and gain the stage experience necessary locally to be a well rounded artist.
